3 Day Refresh

Hey everyone! I haven't written a new blog for a while, so I thought I would give you an overview of what I've been doing the last couple of days!

I've gotten a lot of questions about what the 3 Day Refresh is, so I will post my video below of the overview :)

I love how this non-starvation, vegan cleanse is only 3 days! You have 3 days to reset your body and get back on the path to clean eating. This is my second time doing it, and it is much easier. I'll be completely honest and say that the first time was definitely difficult. I only lost under a pound, and I ended up cheating on it a little the last day.

I am so not a cleanse person. I tried to do a 3 day juice cleanse, and it was just not for me. I love juicing with fruits and some veggies, but the recipes for the juice cleanse were SO hard for me to drink. I ended up drinking all the juice for the day, but adding in some clean food as well. The great thing about the 3 Day Refresh is that it is all set up for you, day by day, hour by hour. I set alarms for every time I have to eat/drink next. I will write out today's eating schedule for today (I'm a late riser):

8:30am: Wake up, chug 8oz of filtered water (I keep my huge water bottle by my bed)

9:00am: Shakeology (vegan chocolate) blended with 10oz water and half a banana (first fruit serving of the day)

**optional herbal tea one hour after this, but I skipped it

10:30ish: (I tried to space out my meals more today) Fiber Sweep: this is a packet you put in water, mix it and chug it down fast! It will clump if you don't drink it immediately. It tastes like lemon and isn't hard to get down.

12ish: Lunch is a Vanilla Fresh shake blended with water and another serving of fruit. I will probably do blueberries today! I also get to have 1 serving of veggies and 1 healthy fat (I will have hummus and carrots)

1:30: Afternoon snack is another serving of veggies and a healthy fat (or juice option!). I usually have 1 tsp coconut oil and some baby carrots again because you don't have to prep anything

3: herbal tea (I enjoy green)

3-5: chug a ton of water and get a walk or Yoga in!

5: Dinner: Vanilla Fresh Shake with water and ice (no more fruit), and 1 serving from the dinner list. So tonight I will be having Coconut steamed veggies: steamed broccoli and cauliflower with sea salt and coconut oil

6-8: chug water, and have optional tea again before bed!


My introduction video explains the meals in more detail, and I have all 3 days documented from my first round as well. Again, this has been a more successful round (lost 1.2 pounds after Day 1!) and I haven't cheated, nor wanted to, at all!
