Stop Decreasing the Goal...Increase the Effort!

Do you ever make a big goal, say it out loud, then a few weeks later decrease it? You back down because...in all honesty, you just didn't break it down to begin with?

Been there!! I remember when I would be like, "I'm so losing 30 pounds by the end of the summer," or I'd make a big business goal and then freak out when my deadline was approaching and I hadn't done anything to work towards it and I was like ehhh ok I'm decreasing that immediately. 😐

I didn't step up. I didn't take ownership. And guess what? I'm the only one who can do that.

I mentor and support women for a living. I hear time and time again big goals mentioned, and while that's AWESOME, there's simply no point in saying a big goal if you have no roadmap. 🙅🏼it will just be defeating.

We hear it often....a goal is a dream with a DEADLINE. We must make action steps along the way to mark our progress. Is it realistic? Is it big enough? Can you do MORE? Make MORE time for it? Wake up EARLIER? Are you desperate enough to show up for it every single day?

I'm no longer interested in living small, thinking small, being "unmotivated..." because it's just limited belief thinking and the norm.

If we want to do something BIG and EXCITING with our lives....it doesn't matter what area it's in....we just have to follow through or we will not change. Nothing will.

Change things, or things won't change. Don't decrease the goal--increase your effort, yo 😎🤘🏻
